All around Seattle and across the United States, there has been an increasing implementation of hostile architecture in our cities. From unnecessary dividers in benches to bicycle racks installed in odd places, hostile architecture can often go unnoticed by most passersby.

PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT

Inside the installation, viewers are prompted to take a strip of caution tape to wrap around any hostile architecture they see throughout the city. This interactive component encourages the public to take notice of the various forms of hostile architecture that we often fail to notice or recognize while going about our everyday lives.
